Timothy "TJ" Neumann is an analyst at HKS Real Estate Advisors, bringing over eight years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, and financial analysis. He has worked across a diverse range of asset classes, including multifamily, condominium, retail, office, hospitality, and marinas. Before joining HKS, TJ played a key role in investment and development firms, managing the full lifecycle of real estate transactions and platform operations. As a Senior Associate at Sagamore Blue, he co-led acquisitions and financial diligence, underwriting over 80 deals and closing transactions totaling $20 million. Previously, as a Development Associate at KD Sagamore Capital, he oversaw real estate projects exceeding $250 million, handling debt financing, construction draws, and financial modeling. TJ has been involved in notable projects across New York City, including a $180 million office redevelopment in Flatiron, an $80 million ground-up development of luxury condominiums in the Lower East Side, and a $60 million mixed-use development of multifamily over retail in Brooklyn. Throughout his career, TJ has contributed to projects and transactions surpassing $500 million, demonstrating expertise in deal structuring, market analysis, and financial strategy. He was also a founding member of a startup investment platform that scaled from inception to $25 million. TJ is a long-time member of the Urban Land Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Eastern Connecticut State University.
