Michael Lee has been an integral part of HKS Real Estate Advisors since its inception in 2011. Six months into the business, he closed his first loan, a ground-up condo construction loan in Brooklyn. Later, he became a partner of the firm in 2015 and has since closed over $1.5 billion in transactions. Some of his high-profile deals include arranging a $38 million acquisition/gut renovation loan for a multifamily, office, and retail building; $101 million ground-up construction loan for two residential condo towers for a foreign national; $9.5 million refinance for a 110,000 SF industrial building with 5 years interest only; and, an $11 million, two bank participation, 5 year fixed loan for a charter school without a final CO. Michael constantly hunts for tailored financing solutions, with a laser focus on execution. Michael has been featured in Commercial Observer's “Top 25 under 35,” New York Real Estate Journal's "2018 Ones to Watch,” and Crain’s “Rising Stars in Real Estate.” Prior to joining HKS Capital, Michael graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in applied economics and management.
