
Alex Dobosh
Associate Director
Alex Dobosh has been a key member of HKS Real Estate Advisors since 2019, beginning his career as a summer intern that year, and joining the team as a full-time analyst in 2020. Over the course of his career, Alex has participated in the closing of more than $750 million in transactions spanning every major asset class and financing structure. His work includes acquisition and bridge financing, cash‑out refinances, ground‑up construction loans, underlying cooperative debt, CMBS executions, and the placement of preferred equity and mezzanine capital.
Alex is known for his analytical rigor, client-first approach, and ability to navigate complex capital stacks with precision. He works closely with sponsors, developers, and ownership groups to structure tailored financing solutions that align with both immediate needs and long‑term investment strategies. His cross‑disciplinary experience allows him to support deals from initial underwriting through closing, ensuring a seamless process for clients and capital partners alike.
Alex’s recent deal highlights include:
- A $103.75 million refinance for a 168,019-square-foot student housing community comprising 356 units and 483 beds arranged through GID Credit, to support lease-up of the recently developed asset
- A $31.75 million bridge refinance for a newly completed 53‑unit multifamily property in Brooklyn, arranged through 360 Capital Funding to replace the construction loan and provide flexibility through lease‑up to stabilization
- A $7.9 million acquisition loan for a 105,481‑square‑foot shopping center in Milford, Connecticut, arranged on behalf of Constitution Credit to support a value‑add repositioning strategy
- A $5.4 million refinance for a newly delivered 19‑unit apartment building in Bayonne, New Jersey, secured through Emerald Creek Capital and completed during the property’s lease‑up phase
Alex was named one of the New York Real Estate Journal’s “Ones to Watch” in 2022, recognizing his growing impact in the commercial real estate finance industry. He also serves on the Young Professionals Board of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, supporting fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement initiatives. Alex holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he served in multiple leadership roles and was awarded the Campus Leadership Award for his contributions to the university community.
